Your desert expedition kicks off in Marrakech. Meet your group and tour leader for a strict departure at 2:00 PM. Leaving the bustling city behind, your air-conditioned vehicle winds upward through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the panoramic Tizi n’Tichka pass. As the mountains fade into arid pre-desert plains, you will descend into Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Moroccan Sahara. Check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Flights must arrive in Marrakech before 12:30 on Day 1.

Start the morning exploring the sprawling cinema studios of Ouarzazate, where famous Hollywood epics have been filmed. Afterward, travel south along the historic caravan trails to the remote oasis village of Oulad Driss. Leave the vehicle behind for a 2-hour guided walking trek directly into the rolling sand dunes as the sun sets over the desert horizon. Spend the night at a traditional desert lodge.

Spend the night sleeping in comfortable desert tents, complete with a campfire dinner and stargazing under the clear Saharan sky.
