What to Expect
Mount Toubkal Trek become a very popular destination in the last 5 years. so you will have to expect to see a lot of tourists during your trek not as busy as Marrakech, you will be staying in a shared dormitory either in Toubkal refuge or les mouflon so you will have to share a room with other people. accept if you asked for a private room, which will cost you extra money.
at the elevation of 3200 meters, the oxygen is less than the sea level so you may have a lack of sleep at the base camp. and also on the way up to Toubkal summit on the next day so you may have altitude sickness. It’s not very common, but it happens sometimes

Aztat
I arrived in Morocco the same time as a winter storm. I did the first day of climbing and realized quickly that the snow was hampering my progress. I come from South Africa which has no snow to speak of. I discussed the various options with Mohamed, my guide and we decided to do some hiking in the surrounding mountains to make use of my time. My cook, Ali was a great and the food was delicious. I then did a 4 day tour of Morocco which was fantastic. We went to Ouarzazte, Dades Goges and Merzouga. Again my guide, Brahim was great. He had an in-depth knowledge of both Morocco and the places to go. He made me feel comfortable. I appreciated the fact that we could change the tour due to weather and my experiance. I will be going to Imlil and Morocco in the next couple of months to attempt the summit during summer. I will definitely be using their services again. Great guys who know the country like the back of their hands
